I just watched Blue Valentine

And it was… well, I wouldn’t say it was great. But it was good. It just didn’t have what I expected (what I wanted, actually) - a happy ending. I wanted to see a married couple go through hard times then rise from them and be happy but instead I got a married couple who started wonderfully go through hard times and ended with a question mark. 

I guess I wanted an affirmation that love conquers all and that with love all will be good. So I guess I was disappointed.

But it was good.
